History

When looking to buy a Classic World of Warcraft account, there is a lot of history about to game that you should know. World of Warcraft Classic, also known as Vanilla WoW, is an MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) originally released by Blizzard Entertainment on November 23, 2004. World of Warcraft is the conclusion of the Warcraft franchise that began with Warcraft: Orcs & Humans. WoW Classic servers first went online on August 26, 2019, almost 15 years from the release date of the original game. World of Warcraft Classic requires a monthly subscription, runs on Blizzard Entertainment’s Battle.net platform, but does not require the purchase of any expansions in order to play.

What is WoW Classic?

WoW Classic is a recreation of the original World of Warcraft game during patch 1.12 with no expansions. By rolling back 15 years of expansions, you can relive World of Warcraft’s epic tale of Horde vs Alliance in the world of Azeroth. The realms are divided into North America, Oceanic, Latin America, and European. Many private servers such as Kronos, the Elysium Project, Nighthaven, Lightbringer, and Light’s Hope have attempted to replicate the World of Warcraft experience throughout the years, but none have come close to Blizzard’s original product. These servers are commonly referred to as Vanilla WoW servers. When purchasing a WoW Classic account, you can skip weeks of grinding and jump directly into the end game raiding and PVP scene.

WoW Classic Characters

World of Warcraft Classic allows you to play a combination of 8 races and 9 classes. The game is divided between two factions: the Alliance and the Horde. Each race and class in World of Warcraft has many distinct advantages and disadvantages. For example, warriors are the best tank class, mages and warlocks do the most dps, and priests make the best healers. Shamans are able to cast bloodlust meanwhile paladins are able to cast auras that affect the entire group or raid. Some characters are hybrids such as druids that can be either tanks, healers, or dps depending on the spec.

World of Warcraft Classic Races:

  • Human
  • Dwarf
  • Night Elf
  • Gnome
  • Orc

  • Tauren
  • Undead
World of Warcraft Classic Classes:
  • Warrior
  • Hunter

Gameplay

Your brand new character begins at level 1, and after a long journey of quests and dungeons, you will finish leveling at level 60. The average player can get to lvl 60 in about one month of casual gameplay. While most casual players enjoy this grind up to the max level, some choose to buy a World of Warcraft account with a level 60 already on it.

The main way to level your World of Warcraft character is through questing. Classic World of Warcraft has thousands of quests that reward players with experience, gold, weapons, and armor. When you first begin playing World of Warcraft, the quests are very easy and are an introduction into the game. The rewards are very lackluster but as you progress to higher level content, the rewards become much greater. Many World of Warcraft players choose to run dungeons rather than quests to level up to level 60. WoW Classic has 18 dungeons that can be started at level 13 and take your character all the way up to level 60. Dungeons offer much better rewards than quests but require 5-10 players coordinating together to complete and are usually far more difficult. The typical 5 man group consists of a tank, a healer, and 3 DPS or damage dealers.

In World of Warcraft, the primary way of getting more powerful as you level up, is acquiring better gear. Weapons, armor, jewelry, and trinkets make your character stronger. This will boost your warlock’s damage, your druid will heal better, and your warrior will be able to take more damage.

Regardless of how you choose to level your account, the ultimate goal of World of Warcraft Classic is to have a level 60 character. At lvl 60, this is when the game truly comes to life and you can decide where your adventure will take you. If you don’t have the time to commit to grinding up to level 60, there are many options available such as buying a WoW Classic level 60 character.

Economy

The primary currency in World of Warcraft is the in-game gold. World of Warcraft gold can be acquired from many activities including killing monsters, performing quests, and professions. Gold may be traded between players directly or used to purchase items in the auction house. The World of Warcraft auction house is located in each faction’s major cities and can be used to trade most items in the game. Addons can be used to ensure you get the best experience out of the auction house along with the cheapest prices. When you buy an item from the World of Warcraft auction house, it is delivered to your mailbox instantly, but as the seller you have to wait for an hour.

Objects that are labeled “bind-on-pickup” or “BoP” cannot be traded in any way. Gold can be used to acquire new weapons and armor, enchantments for your current gear, trade skill materials for your professions, and can also be used to repair your items. Some players will even help boost your character by selling you a raid carry in exchange for gold. WoW gold can even be exchanged for 30 days of game time through WoW tokens. Alternately, WoW tokens can be purchased directly from Blizzard in the Blizzard shop and traded for gold. The exchange rate of WoW gold to WoW tokens can be tracked online on many websites such ashttps://wowtokenprices.com in order to ensure you get the best price. In fact, the exchange rate of WOW currency surpassed the value of the Venezuelan Bolivar.

End Game Content

So you now have a level 60 Classic WoW character on your account. Whether you choose to buy a WoW Classic account or leveled up yourself, we have one thing to say: Congratulations! You have beat the game. Fortunately, the game is not over, but rather just beginning. World of Warcraft classic servers offer a ton of end-game content to keep you entertained.

Raiding is one of the primary goals in World of Warcraft. Raids are considered PVE encounters, or Player vs Environment. A World of Warcraft raid consists of 40 players working together to take down a boss NPC in a special dungeon. NPC stands for non-playable character, or a character that is controlled by the game and is not an actual player. Most of the time, a raid is run by a guild, a collection of players all part of the same faction. World of Warcraft guilds are a dynamic social group that work together towards a common goal. Most guilds have a primary focus such as a PVP guild, PVE guild, or casual guild.

The current raid is Molten Core which consists of 12 bosses. These bosses drop epic treasures, tier 1 armor, and quest pieces for the legendary weapons Sulfaras, Hand of Ragnaros and Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker. Blizzard is expected to launch Blackwing Lair, the Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj, the Temple of Ahn’Qiraj, and Naxxramas during future patch dates. It is unlikely that other World of Warcraft expansions such as the Burning Crusade will be released.

PVP, also known as Player vs Player, is another of the primary goals for the World of Warcraft end game. Player vs Player combat involves players of opposite factions fighting to the death in order to control resources and territories. PVP in WoW Classic consists mainly of open world battles and 3 battlegrounds: Warsong Gulch (10 vs 10), Arathi Basin (15 vs 15), and Alterac Valley (40 vs 40). When you kill another player in the open world or in a battleground, you receive an honorable kill (HK) and honor points. These honor points can be redeemed for PVP armor, weapons, mounts, tabards, and many other battleground rewards.

The World of Warcraft end-game can be overwhelming for new players. Level 60 content is much more difficult than the rest of the game, requires far more time investment, and usually requires a minimum of 10 players working together to achieve their goal. Many guilds will not let you join them until you have reached the maximum level. For these reasons, buying a high level World of Warcraft account is the solution for many people. You can buy a cheap WoW Classic account if you are looking to start the end-game grind, or you can buy a maxed account and enjoy all the rewards with none of the hassle.

What makes a World of Warcraft Classic account valuable?

There are many factors that affect the price of a game account. The first, and most obvious factor, is the level of the account. Since most people are only looking to purchase a high level or max level (level 60) account, the higher your level is, the more valuable the account is. If an account has multiple level 60 characters, these alts can also raise the value.

The second major factor into a WoW account’s price is the gear. Your World of Warcraft character’s gear determines how strong your character will be. If you are wearing mostly green (uncommon) and blue (rare) gear, your character will be significantly less powerful than a character in full purple (epic) gear. Epic gear even goes a step further as higher tier raids reward players with more powerful epic gear. For example, tier 1 epic gear from Molten Core is not as powerful as tier 2 epic gear from Onyxia’s Lair and Blackwing Lair. One of the best ways to compare gear is to look for which piece has the higher iLvl, or item level. Furthermore, the most expensive WoW accounts have legendary (orange) gear. A Thunderfury or Sulfaras account is worth exponentially more than your basic, discount level 60 character.

The final factor is your character’s mounts and achievements. Classic Warcraft uses the same achievement system as the retail version of the game. As your character completes different content, they will receive achievement points. Some of the rarest achievements are realm firsts such as first level 60 character. PVP achievements reward characters with rare titles such as High Warlord and Grand Marshall. High achievement WoW accounts have way more value in the market. Rare mounts are one of the few vanity items in Vanilla WoW that allow you to show off a bit. At this time, there are no TCG mounts, such as the Spectral Tiger, available in Classic WoW.

Rarest WoW Classic Mounts:

  • Stormpike Charger (Alliance) & Frostwolf Howler (Horde)
  • Winterspring Frostsaber
  • Rank 11 PVP Mounts
  • Swift Zulian Tiger
  • Swift Razzashi Raptor
  • Deathcharger’s Reins
  • Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal (Scarab Lord)
