League of Legends Season 10: Everything You Need to Know About The End of The Season

It’s still too early to know the exact date that season 10 will end, though going by past seasons we’re about two months out as of the time of writing. Past seasons have ended early to mid-November, with Season 9 ending on Friday, November 19th. Going by this, the most likely situation is that the season will end on Friday the 20th. We’ll be sure to update you as soon as we know more.

In the meantime, let’s look at some things you need to know about the upcoming end of the season, while there’s still time to do something about it.

Rewards

The biggest question you probably have about the upcoming end of the season is what rewards will be on offer. Let’s take a look.

Victorious Skins

Earning gold or higher in solo queue or 5v5 flex will earn you a special skin for one specific champion. Riot has yet to officially confirm which champion it will be, but leaks and some early social media teasers point towards the gun-wielding ADC Lucian.

Riot has officially confirmed that unique chromas will be unlocked for each tier beyond gold that players reach.

Honor Skins

Players who have reached Honor level 5, regardless of rank, during the season will unlock tokens that can unlock Medieval Twitch or Grey Warwick, or a unique chroma if you already have one of both of those skins unlocked.

Split Rewards

At 150 points, players can unlock a split-themed summoner icon.

At 250 points, players unlock a visual upgrade to ranked armor.

The highest split reward, unlocked at 500 points, is a new dynamic emote with slight differences that vary depending on the highest rank achieved.

Rank Rewards

Just like in past seasons, there are unique rewards unlocked for each tier, which are awarded based on the highest rank achieved across all queues during the season regardless of what rank you end the season at. They are as follows.

Note that players who have received bans or chat restrictions may be ineligible for rewards, and players who have active bans or restrictions at the end of the season are fully ineligible.

Iron

Players who reach the Iron tier unlock the Iron summoner icon, Iron profile trim, and an honor ward skin.

Bronze

Players who have reached the Bronze summoner icon, Bronze profile Trim, and an Honor Ward Skin

Silver

At the silver tier, players will unlock the Silver summoner icon, Silver profile trim, and the Silver loading screen border. They’ll also receive up to the Victorious ward skin (as long as they’ve reached at least silver in two queues) and an honor ward skin.

Gold

For reaching the Gold tier, players will receive the Gold summoner icon, Gold profile trim, and the Gold loading screen border. They’ll also unlock the Victorious ward skin (as long as they’ve reached at least silver in one other queue), the Victorious champion skin with a unique chroma per queue they reached gold in, and an Honor ward skin.

Platinum

At the Platinum tier, players earn the Platinum summoner icon, Platinum profile trim, and platinum loading screen border. They’ll also receive the Victorious Ward Skin (as long as they’ve reached at least silver in one other queue), the Victorious champion skin (with an extra Chroma for each Gold or above queue rank), and an Honor ward skin.

Diamond

At the Diamond tier, players receive the Diamond summoner icon, Diamond profile trim, and Diamond loading screen border. They will also get the Victorious ward skin (as long as they’ve reached at least silver in one other queue), the Victorious champion skin (with an extra Chroma for each Gold or above queue rank), and an Honor Ward Skin.

Master

For reaching the Master tier, players unlock the Master summoner icon, Master profile trim, and Master loading screen border. They also get the Victorious ward skin (as long as they’ve reached at least silver in one other queue), the Victorious champion skin (with an extra Chroma for each Gold or above queue rank), and an Honor Ward Skin.

Grandmaster

For the Grandmaster rank, players earn the same rewards as the Master rank, ie Master summoner icon, Master profile trim, Master loading screen border, Victorious ward skin, Victorious champion skin, and Honor ward skin.

Challenger

Players who have reached the Challenger rank will receive the Challenger summoner icon, Challenger profile trim, and the Challenger loading screen border. They’ll also receive the Victorious ward skin (as long as they’ve reached at least silver in one other queue), Victorious champion skin (with an extra Chroma for each Gold or above queue rank), and Honor ward skin.

Finally, they’ll receive the Challenger recall season reward.

Sadly, Riot has retired the physical rewards available to Challenger tier players.

Despite the season coming to an end, now is always a great to buy League of Legends accounts.  Players can buy accounts with the exact season reward they are looking to acquire, prior to the season ending.   It’s always not too late to buy LoL smurfs to quickly rank up and lock-in rewards before the season ends.

2021 Pre-Season

It’s not too late to make a difference in the 2020 season, but it’s also not too early to start thinking about the 2021 preseason. Here’s what we know so far.

Updated Item System

The biggest change Riot has announced for the 2021 preseason is a complete rework of their item system. They’re estimating that only 34% of next year’s item shop will contain items that have remained unchanged from this season. 33% of the items will be entirely new, and the final 33% will be items that have been reworked in some way.

In terms of playstyle, they’re mostly looking to adjust the ways in which changing items throughout the course of the game will have meaningful effects and consequences, and reflect your preferred playstyle to a greater degree.

Riot is also looking to redesign the item shop interface, creating a much more intuitive experience. Changes will include a more intelligent item recommendation system and match specific analytical tools.

In Conclusion

Any time Riot makes changes, not all players are on board with them.  While Riot tries to cater to most players, some will decide to quit the game because of these changes.  Accountwarehouse.com is the premier marketplace for players that quit the game and are looking to make some money off their account.  Players can sell League of Legends accounts to Accountwarehouse for top dollar without any risk of being scammed.

There’s still plenty of time left in the 2020 season for you to make your mark and earn new skins and profile decorations to show off next season. There’s also a lot of exciting changes coming up next season, so stay tuned.
